Player Stats: Chelsea 4 - 0 Brentford

For the second time in a row, Chelsea defeated Brentford 4-0 at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea deservedly won the FA Cup fourth round game against Brentford 4-0, and one could argue that the goals could have been more.
See how the players fared:

Begovic: After enjoying a relatively easy game in the first half, the Bosnian made two great saves in the second half, as Brentford threatened for some minutes. Did well to keep a clean sheet. 8/10

Zouma: Had a solid game on the right side of the defence, and handled everything that came his way. 7/10

Terry: Had a comfortable game in the centre of defence for Chelsea. An easy game for the captain. 6/10

Azpilicueta: His excellent spirit was clearly on display today, as Azpilicueta took the game like a cup final. Had a good shift before being substituted in the 70th, as Conte gave him a rest ahead of Liverpool. 7/10

Chalobah: Did a lot of dirty job in midfield, and broke so many attacking ventures tried by Brentford. Had a good game. 7/10

Fabregas: The Spaniard isn’t called a pass master for nothing; the quality of his passing today was excellent, and he just made things tick in midfield for Chelsea. 8/10

Ake: Started as a left wing-back before switching to the left side of the 3-man defence, and one thing that remained constant with the Dutchman is that he was always comfortable on the ball. 8/10

Pedro: Started as a wing-back before Conte deployed him as a winger later in the game. He was a constant menace against Brentford, made a lot of beautiful runs and bagged a goal and an assist. 8/10

Willian: Excellent game for the Brazilian. He started the rout for Chelsea with a sublime freekick, and was a constant threat before being substituted in the 64th minute. 8/10

Loftus-Cheek: Could easily have scored a brace or a hatrick against Brentford today. Forced two saves from the Brentford keeper and also hit the woodwork. Nice game from the youngster. 7/10

Batshuayi: Unlucky not to score in the first half; his first attempt on target was cleared on the line, while he had a goal correctly ruled for offside in the first half. Finally scored from the penalty spot ten minutes from time. 7/10

Subs:

Ivanovic: Replaced Willian in the 64th minute and played his best game for Chelsea this season. Brentford were beginning to exploit Chelsea’s weaknesses on the right flank, and as he came in, he didn’t just make the right flank solid, but he also got a goal and won a penalty. Beautiful game from the Serb. 8/10

Kenedy: Replaced Azpilicueta with just 20 minutes left to play, and played as a left wing-back for the Blues. Showed a glimpse of what to expect from him in future. 6/10

Costa: He had only 15 minutes to play, and he shook Brentford’s defence under that short time. He was a real threat to Brentford’s defence. 7/10
