Eden Hazard "There Is More to Football than dribbing and scoring"

Eden Hazard has revealed Antonio Conte has taught him there is more to football than just dribbling and scoring goals.

The Belgian forward has returned to the sort of sparkling form which saw him decorate Chelsea’s 2014/15 title-winning campaign, before enduring a difficult follow-up campaign under Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink.

Conte’s teachings, however, have inspired Hazard who has scored nine goals and registered three assists this term to help his side open up a nine-point gap at the top, ahead of Saturday’s crunch meeting with London rivals Arsenal.

Hazard said: ‘We know that to create movement I have to not even get the ball, but to create movement and space for others.

‘I think now I understand that football is not only with the ball at my feet. It’s good to get the ball at my feet but sometimes I need to go deep, to go at the goal.’
